I have certifications in CBT, ACT, I-CBT, SPACE and extensive training in Mindfulness, Yoga, IFS and Play Therapy.

CBT / I-CBT / SPACE
I use CBT to examine how thoughts impact feelings, affecting behaviors. It helps with anxiety, depression, habits, addictions, and relationships. I apply exposure response prevention (ERP) for anxiety.
I-CBT is for OCD, exploring how obsessional doubts lead to compulsions. We differentiate between reasonable and obsessional doubts and learn to apply reasoning in daily life versus OCD. We also explore underlying fears contributing to these doubts.
SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. I utilize SPACE to support parents, restore autonomy, improve-regulation, and enhance family communication.

ACT / Mindfulness / Yoga
Using ACT, we accept what is beyond our control and commit to actions that improve our lives and solve problems. This increases our psychological flexibility, allowing us to be present and do what matters. Mindfulness and yoga bring curiosity, acceptance, and kindness into the moment. I enjoy promoting mindful living and helping parents adopt a conscious approach parenting.
Play Therapy / IFS
Play strengthens the connections in the brain and supports intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and creative processes. When given the opportunity, children can utilize play to help them understand and cope with experiences they have encountered. IFS examines the different parts of a human being, including the protective and wounded inner parts, which are led by a core Self. It helps people access and heal these inner parts through outer connectedness.

I respect the dignity of every person and I believe every person is capable of change, healing and being restored. I want to accompany and support those on their journey.

Starting therapy can be intimidating especially when you don't know what to expect. I am on your team and I want you to feel understood and seen. I want you to leave therapy with your head held high and ready to take on each new day.

It can be difficult and even intimidating to find a therapist who is able to address a variety of challenges and unknowns. During our sessions we will work together to better understand your feelings and emotions . I will also introduce tools you can use to respond to your thoughts in a more productive and compassionate way.

A free consultation is a great way to see if we are a good fit. I am also always open to meeting children and teens at my space in person to ensure they feel safe/confident about working with me.
